| Item Practical Use
All weapons and armors have durability which wears out as utilized.
If durability goes "0", item will not function any longer. If you don't want to repair your items often, you can improve the durability with refinement. ![]() Refinement NPCs

Catalyst is the significant material to refine your gears, 3 catalysts are required per refining.
All most all gears, except accessories can be used as refining catalysts and refining catalysts are available at the premium shop How to recycle refining catalysts (premium item) - You can purchase refining catalyst from premium shop and unseal to use. - Double click the catalyst that you do not need. - Please be aware of that once the catalyst is converted to Disused Refining Catalyst, it is not reversible. - You can manufacture an unsealed catalyst with the five Disused Refining Catalysts through [Consumable Item Manufacturing Merchant] - The merchants are located in each of start village and castle. ![]()
Find the refining NPC first and prepare catalysts.
Weapons and armors can be used as refining catalysts. The performance level of catalysts must be 20 levels or higher comparing to your item attempting to refine. In addition, if catalysts (weapons, armors) have options, the options can be transferred to your item attempting to refine with certain probability. You can use 3 catalysts in single attempt and all items have 5 maximum refine attempts. ![]()
Right click or double the refinement NPC and select "Trade".
Put your item attempting to refine on the object slot and 3 catalysts on catalyst slots then press "Refine". ![]()
Refinement requires certain amount of game money.

If you successfully refine items, the durability is increased and your attempt will be marked.
Even if you fail, all catalysts you used will disappear and your attempt will be marked as well. ![]()
You can transfer options to your items from catalysts items that have options.
> The transferrable options are limited to the type of items and require successful refinement first.
1. First of all, refining must be successfully done for option transfers,
In other words, if you fail refining, option transfer will fail at the same time ![]()
- Refinement object item: Gold Thread Uniform Shirt with Magic Defense Level +1
- Catalyst 1: Gold Thread Uniform Shirt with Defense Rating +3 - Catalyst 2: Gold Thread Uniform Shirt with Defense Rating +4 - Catalyst 3: Gold Thread Uniform Shirt with Magic Defense Level +3
2. Let's take a look at the result of Refining above.
In this case, your item has upgraded to Magic Defense Level +3. If you are lucky, you can get other options such as Defense rating +3 as well. ![]()
It is advised to put all 3 Catalysts with needed option for your item.
3. Even though you succeed refinement, transferrable options are limited to type of items.

Items and options : The rules of option transfers are as below.
For example, such as Long Range Attack Speed (Bow, Crossbow) or Defense Rating (Armors) cannot be transferred to One-Handed sword. One-Handed Swords, Left-Handed Swords, Two-Handed Swords, Chakrams, Axes: - Main option: Physical Damage - Additional Options: Physical Attack Speed, Attack Rating, Physical Critical Hit Rate Bows,Crossbows: - Main option: Long Range Damage - Additional Options: Long Range Attack Speed, Attack Rating, Physical Critical Rate Staffs(Long Wand), Wands: - Main option: Magic Attack Level - Additional Options: Magic Attack Speed, Magic Attack level, Cate Rate, Magic Critical Magic Rate Magic Shields: - Main option: Magic Defense - Additional Options: Block Rate, Magic Defense Level Shields: - Main option: Physical Defense - Additional Options: Block Rate, Defense Rating Armors: - Main option: Physical Defense, Magic Defense - Additional Options: Defense Rating, Magic Defense Level Important! ![]()
Items, which have main options, cannot be upgraded. If a catalyst(item) has a main option, the main option can be transferred.

All items have different maximum option value, so if the type of object items and catalysts is different, the given value will be adjusted as the object item's type.
For example; the refining object is a glove and the catalyst have +26~+35 Defense Ratings. Less than +26 value will be transferred due to the maximum defense value of gloves (usually +3~4) although the catalyst have +26~+35 Defense Ratings.
When you have used all 5 attempts in refining and you are not satisfied with magic option, you can reset the refinement credit.

You need "Refinement Reset Scroll" to initialize the refinement credit. This can be purchased at the premium shop.
Find upgrading NPCs in each start village or castle. Right click and select "Trade". Put the item you want to set on "Gear" slot and Refinement Reset Scroll on scroll slot and press "OK". NPC location is found below. If an item is reset, durability and refinement credit will be initialized also the additional options will be deleted as well.
